I’ve heard countless comments about the latest season of South Park. Many people think it’s going downhill, and the latest episode seems to agree; everything’s gone shit. I have enjoyed this season enough to continue to watch it, but there’s no denying it’s not as good as it used to be. They’ve simply exhausted every crazy idea that they could think of. The oddly unfunny ending of the newest episode “You’re getting old” seems to hint towards the ending of South Park. I’m not sure how to feel about it. On one hand I absolutely love the show and can’t imagine it being absent from my life, having watched it for so many years. On the other hand, I don’t want to continue to see them make horrible episodes and ruin the popularity and success that this show has worked so hard for. As far as I know, no news has been released to confirm the ending of the show. So I guess we’ll have to wait and see…
Do you think South Park is coming to a close? Do you think it should?
Do you think South Park is coming to a close? Do you think it should?
I saw it going downhill during the whole 'coon and friends' thing. It'll be awful to see it go but If this is all they have left, I think it's for the best.
ReplyDeleteIt's been renewed for another year, but I've never been a fan of it - at all.
ReplyDeleteDon't think so...Followed and clicked. Please do the same!
ReplyDeleteI have only watched a few episodes this season and I still get a few chuckles here and there. I think because I am not in high school anymore and I can't laugh with my friends about it the next day. It takes a lot away from the show for me
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure its one of Comedy Centrals BIGGEST shows so i doubt they'd want to get rid of it any time soon, know how "well" their other new shows do(they don't). followed!
ReplyDeleteDon't they will end,
ReplyDeletebut the new season sucks in my opinion.
14th season was the best!
I just want to see them finally kill kenny.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it should close... It's such a classic that I've been watching throughout my childhood years (although I probably shouldn't have...)
ReplyDeleteKenny will forever be in my heart - dead or alive =)
It's such a good show but it is arguable that the quality has already started to decline. I would hate to see it go the way of the Simpsons or Family Guy and just turn to complete shit.. :(
ReplyDeleteI've been a big fan of South Park over the years but the past few seasons I have not gotten to watch as much as I would like. I will try to catch a few of the new episodes and see just how bad it has gotten.
ReplyDeleteSouth Park is more clever than any other animated TV show such as Family Guy, the Simpsons, Futurama, etc. Sad to see it go when over the years it has spoken openly about alot of issues and cleverly disguised significant questions in society as toilet humour. Well done South Park, you have served us well.
ReplyDeleteI hope it doesn't end.
ReplyDeleteI hope not! I want to see a lot of new episodes :)
ReplyDeleteoh, it cannot end. i love south park! followed
ReplyDeleteEnough is enough.
ReplyDeleteThis season has been pretty terrible. One funny line...VANILLA PASTOH OR CUTTLEFISH & ASPARAGUS?
ReplyDeleteI would love to see South Park change it up and improve. This season has kinda sucked.
ReplyDeleteFollowed!
i wish i cared but sp like simpsons stoped being good (funny) many years ago.
ReplyDeleteThey cant end it what else will I watch at 3 in the morning! D=
ReplyDeleteIt's done
ReplyDeleteI always thought the Simpsons should have ended a long time ago..the never ending episodes kind of ruined it for me. I personally think South Park will continue because the creators have always said, that it gives them the freedom to do anything they want and they wouldn't wanna give that up.
ReplyDeleteHey great blog, check out mine if you want (oppai galore)
ReplyDeleteAll good things must come to an end.
ReplyDeleteit'd be nice to see the team do new things. Team America was great. I'm not much of a fan of South Park, the humour is a little too crude and not really funny, for me.
ReplyDeleteI often wonder what they could come up with to replace it?
ReplyDeleteI am also a long time south park crazy fan, regardless if south park is ending or not, trey and parker owe it to their fans not to make such a depressing end of a show. That Fleetwood Mac ending was the gayest thing I have ever seen, they should do something funny. I will probably cry when South Park ends.
ReplyDeleteSIQ POST BRO!!!!
I think Trey Park and Matt Stone will want to end the series on a high, rather than letting it dribble into obscurity
ReplyDeleteI would not mind if it is the last season..
ReplyDeleteYeah I agree, It is getting kinda old.
ReplyDeleteYeah SOuth Park is getting quite old =/ USed to be funny
ReplyDeleteI really hope it's not over just yet.....I shall follow. Good stuff.
ReplyDeleteI love Southpark, I prefer it to Family guy and The Simpsons, but it's beginning to go dry, they've run out of story ideas and they even made their movie idea into 2/3 episode because of their lack of ideas (that weird wonderland thing last series or something).
ReplyDeleteFollowing :D
I think Southpark is going dry, and I'm okay if they stop the show. I noticed the same thing with Family Guy and especially with The Simpsons.
ReplyDeleteIt's way past its prime
ReplyDeleteWell, its 11 years of South Park, it has to end someday. I doubt South Park can compete with Simpsons, for example. It has to end.
ReplyDeleteThey're on contract till 2013, so it's unlikely the show will end without one more season. Hopefully they'll do another movie though.
ReplyDeleteThey do have some time left, at least their producing good material *I'm looking at you simpsons*
ReplyDeleteThey still have had some good one. Like the crack baby show
ReplyDeleteI hope not because i love southpark
ReplyDeletesouthpark can't end :(
ReplyDeleteI hope not. There's been some funny moments this season. Crack baby episode was pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI think it's time. They seem to be running out of new ideas. It's still funny, but a lot of the stuff just doesn't feel fresh anymore.
ReplyDeleteTrey parker and matt stone are busy doing the broadway thing, maybe we'll get one more season and then they'll call it.
